The circuit is switched analog, no LIN bus with software.
Only the symbol lighting runs via the basic ASIC system (integrated into the standard switch panel).

MAN switches are rated for a maximum current of 100 mA. Therefore, never connect a switch directly to, for example, a horn or another device with a higher current draw. Doing so can cause internal damage to the switch and void the warranty.
For higher loads, always use an electronic relay to protect the switch. An incorrect connection can also cause overheating and pose a fire hazard. Therefore, always have electronic components installed by a qualified technician.
This guideline applies to all MAN switches.
